Couple's Delight at a Price

The decor was classy and inviting and the evening meal was absolutely delicious enjoyed every bite of it even had a fantastic view from our room that was a nice surprise.

It was pricey but I got what I paid for.

It was just a balanced option for a short staycation in Bury (Greater Manchester) with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast provided during the weekend was a nice treat after a late night out. Parking can be a hassle, so try to arrive early or use street parking instead.

My stay at the Eagle was fantastic! The stunning views from the Suite Mountain View left me in awe each morning. The breakfast delivery was a lovely touch, even if the parking was a bit cramped. a delightful experience in a charming setting.

Beautiful room and delicious in-room breakfast, but Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

Had a great time with friends. We loved exploring two lovely spots nearby. The atmosphere was fantastic, and our room was comfy. Breakfast was decent. I'd recommend checking the garden area if the weather is nice and trying the pub food in-house.

The car park was a bit small, but we expected that. It can get busy during rush hour, so just plan accordingly.

The view from the Tawny Owl room was stunning, a perfect way to start the day. The friendly staff made sure we felt welcomed, going above and beyond with every request.

The continental breakfast could have included more variety.

The Deluxe Double Room with Shower offered stylish decor and was surprisingly comfortable. A small hamper filled with croissants and cereals delivered to the room for breakfast added a nice, personal touch.

Main road noise was a persistent issue, making it tough to relax, especially during the night. The small parking lot quickly filled up, leaving me scrambling to find street parking. I also encountered low water pressure in the shower, which could have been more impressive. there was a frustrating lack of instructions for the TV, making it a hassle to get it working right. The grout in the shower had visible mould, a simple cleanliness issue that could easily be addressed.

had a fab time staying here! the room was super comfy and had an amazin view of the valley. the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help us out. loved that they had free drinks in the mini fridge, like who doesn't enjoy some bubbly? breakfast in bed was a total treat, can't wait to come back!

the only bummer was the lack of parking spots and the wifi was kinda slow.

i stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised. the room had an amazing view of the valley and the peel monument. The bed was super comfy. the breakfast had fresh pastries and coffee delivered right to the door, definitely exceeded my expectations.

Had an amazing stay! Loved the complimentary well-stocked fridge, and the kippers for breakfast were to die for! Plus, the room was beautifully decorated and super comfy. Definitely going back!

what a gem! the eagle has beautiful decor and fantastic staff. we were blown away by the 5-star meals every night. the overall experience was 1st class, making it hard to leave after just one night. this place is a true find with the best service and value compared to nearby options!

Good food, but rushed vibes

Had a nice meal at the restaurant, but we felt super rushed during our Sunday lunch. They said we only had 2 hours, and our mains were late. Desserts? Nah, we had to leave before that! The food itself was pretty tasty, though. Just a heads-up about the time limits.

Exceptionally clean, exceptionally friendly staff, with a delicious breakfast cooked to a high standard that included proper sourdough bread, and a lovely touch of a complimentary drink upon arrival.
